If you’re dreaming of a wedding with sand between your toes, the waves lapping, and the ocean breeze in your hair, then Boathaven Beach is the ceremony location for you.
This beach ticks all the boxes: accessible, conveniently located close to the main town yet hidden away from site so often quieter than other beaches in the area, covered in clean white sand and is one of the only oceanfront locations that looks beautiful whatever the tide.
With views out over the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands, you can watch the boats go by and set your clocks to Whitsunday-Time. If you’re on the hunt for that tropical beach setting, then settle in for the ceremony of a lifetime under the Queensland sun at Boathaven Beach.
Cedar Creek Falls is a public space and a permit is required to conduct your ceremony here. We highly recommend using a Whitsunday wedding planner to assist in coordinating public space weddings.
NOTE: During current Covid-19 government restrictions on wedding numbers we suggest contacting Whitsunday Regional Council to acquire your wedding permit for this location.
