Whitsunday Weather Guide

The weather in the Whitsundays is best described as beautiful one day, perfect the next!

The Whitsundays are on the same latitude as Fiji and tropical Tahiti, offering beautiful sunny weather virtually year round.

Experiencing a tropical climate, the Whitsundays range in temperature from a pleasant 23 degrees Celsius in the winter months, to 30.5 degrees Celsius in the height of summer.

We enjoy a climate of hot summers, warm winters and pleasant spring and autumn seasons.

During the months of January to March, the days are hot but the summer heat can be broken by tropical showers through the day. The lowest rainfall can be experienced during August to October.

The Whitsunday’s are not subject to daylight savings.

If you are planning a seaside wedding or will be visiting the beaches on your photo tour it is important to note that the tide variation in the Whitsundays is quite dramatic. You can check low and high tides for your wedding day by visiting this site.
