Perched prettily next to a white-sand beach lies the lush tropical oasis of Headland Park. This is a little slice of paradise that boasts views over the Whitsunday coastline, bright blue waters and the Whitsunday Islands dotted along the horizon.
The winding path provides the perfect aisle as it leads you to the manicured lawns for your picture-perfect wedding ceremony.
After the vows, laze on the grass with loved ones, have photos under the tropical palms, or nip down to the neighbouring Boathaven Beach for some newly-wed photos.
Located just a short distance from the main street of Airlie Beach, Headland Park feels like a world-away from it all yet conveniently close to the action and multiple reception venues.
Headland Park is a public space and a permit is required to conduct your ceremony here. We highly recommend using a Whitsunday wedding planner to assist in coordinating public space weddings.
NOTE: During current Covid-19 government restrictions on wedding numbers we suggest contacting Whitsunday Regional Council to acquire your wedding permit for this location.
